Are you a Legal Secretary with a background in a law firm, looking to join a close-knit and busy team? A small but dynamic legal practice in Milton Keynes is seeking a versatile and proactive Legal Secretary to support their growing workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full secretarial support to senior solicitors, including diary management, audio typing, and preparing documents, speciifcally in family law.
- Handle a variety of tasks, from opening and maintaining files to archiving and ordering supplies, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Be the first point of contact for clients, managing communications, scheduling appointments, and ensuring queries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Take on receptionist duties, including answering calls, logging messages, and welcoming clients to the office with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, and ensure clients feel comfortable by offering refreshments upon arrival.
