Primary Teacher

Job Purpose of a Primary Teacher:

To carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for an assigned class. To be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities. To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.

This is a full time permanent role in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on the experience and the qualifications. The role is for September 2024.

Successful Primary Teacher will need to have:

  • B.Ed. Cert, Education or other degree and PGCE
  • Current successful teaching experience in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Understanding of National Curriculum
  • Understanding of and ability to teach phonics, spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Good classroom control
  • Excellent communication skills
