Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £12-12.50 per hour (dependant on experience)
Shifts: 13:30-00:00 Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday

We are representing our client, a steel stockholder, a reputable name in the steel industry, as they seek two diligent individuals to join their Operations Department as Warehouse Operatives. With a focus on quality and efficiency, our client is committed to delivering superior service and products to their customers.
Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an integral part of the operations team, responsible for various tasks including bar picking, bandsaw operation, goods inwards, and lorry loading. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the smooth functioning of the warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bar picking and ensure accurate selection of steel products.
- Operate bandsaw machinery efficiently and safely.
- Handle goods inwards processes, including receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Load and unload lorries with precision and care.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
Days: Monday – Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
Hours: 13:30 – 00:00 (30 Minute Lunch Break)
Wage: £12.00/h - £12.50/h
Overtime: 1.1/3 Weekdays – 1.1/2 Weekends
Bonus: £150-£250 per month dependent on company hitting targets.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience operating overhead crane equipment is highly advantageous.
- Band saw experince is advantageous.
- Forklift (counterbalance) experience is preferable.
- A valid driver's license is preferable.
- Applicants must be physically capable of lifting heavy objects.
