Air Export Operator - Heathrow
Right Now Group are working a medium-sized Freight Forwarder at LHR, assisting them with their search for an experienced Air Export Operator.
The candidate will be expected to complete Air Export consignments from start to finish and have 3+ years' operating in a fast-paced Export environment.
Responsibilities of an Air Export Operator:
- Develop and build strong relationships with suppliers, airlines & overseas agents/partners to ensure a high level of customer service is provided.
- Arrange pickup/haulage for freight due for export.
- Using a knowledge of export customs requirements, ensure that all the correct information is gathered for customs purposes so the internal department that deal with entries can perform their job correctly.
- Create Master/House Airway Bills.
- Hold accountability for billing customers and ensuring cost control. Although you will not be responsible for pricing jobs, a knowledge of how a logistics business maintains return on investment for shipments is paramount.
- Create and maintain customer standard operating procedures.
Requirements of an Air Export Operator:
- 3 years of experience within air freight exports.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Quality clear and concise communication skills.
- Excellent written communication.

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 (DOE)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5pm)
