Reed FE are working with a post 16 College offering an opportunity for a passionate individual to join our sports team as a Sports Lecturer. This role involves delivering a high-quality learning experience to a diverse range of students on an hourly paid basis.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in sports-related subjects.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials, tailoring content to meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback to encourage development.
  • Contribute to the development of the sports curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
  • Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success.
  • Stay current with developments in sports education and integrate new ideas into teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in sports or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching or coaching within the sports sector.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from various backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying teaching schedules.
  • Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
