Deep Cleaning Assistants – Full Time

Based: Northampton: Northamptonshire

Salary: £22,800 Per Annum

37.5 hours per week, to include alternate weekends

St Andrew's Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

The role:

Within this role, you will be deep cleaning various areas of the hospital to include, wards and bathrooms in low and medium secure environments across the charity. You will play a key role in ensuring all levels of cleaning excellence are maintained, in both public areas and back of house. You will have a high standard of cleanliness and take pride in the work you do. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our well established team

Further Duties / Requirements:

  • Use of Machinery i.e. carpet cleaners, jet washing
  • Heavy lifting
  • Deep Cleaning different environments across the hospital
  • Assisting with ward moves
  • Outside working will be required in all weathers

Your profile

You will be someone with high standards of cleanliness who takes real pride in your work. You need to be self-motivated and flexible, with initiative and excellent communication skills, this is an active position and will require heavy lifting.
