Day to Day of the role:
- Ensure compliance with data protection, information security, and risk management obligations.
- Lead regular audits and recertification activities for standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
- Gather requirements and manage the vendor selection process for security products.
- Maintain and ensure the effectiveness of Information Security Management System (ISMS) and security policies, standards, procedures, and guidance across the business.
- Monitor security logging and alerting systems.
- Respond to customer security questionnaires and ensure that security measures meet customer expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in information security management and compliance.
- Familiarity with standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
- Experience in conducting security audits and leading recertification activities.
- Ability to manage vendor selection processes for security products.
- Competence in maintaining and implementing ISMS and security policies.
