Job Title: Support Secretary
Location: Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool Innovations, Kilby 1st Floor L7 9NJ
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (please note this is a temporary role for 3 months with possibility of extension)
Trust Location: Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust
What you'll be responsible for:
- Providing administration support to the speech and language therapy team
- Using EMIS system to book appointment and update patient information
- Sending out letters to parents
- Answering telephone calls and email enquiries
- Some use of Microsoft Office packages
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Experience and knowledge of the EMIS system (highly desirable but not essential)
- Must be IT literate
- Proficient user of Microsoft office packages
- Excellent telephone manner
- NHS experience (desirable but not essential)
