This Company have been established for over 30 years and now have an exciting opportunity for a junior quality inspector to join their team. They are nationally recognised for the specialist work they do within the Aerospace, Space and Defence industries. With the quality of their work they have created a strong reputation for designing and building complete process solutions to the highest quality, providing customers with great efficiency.
This role would suit an engineer looking to get into quality inspection where you will be using microscope, verniers, digital micrometres, thread gauges, CMM machine. Are you someone who has a long term mindset, a real attention to detail and works to high standards, looking to take the first step in their career where you will have the chance to make a difference everyday?
The Role:
- Inspect incoming materials and parts ensuring they meet specifications
- Complete general and final inspection
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Verify rework / repair
- Working to KPI metrics including quality, cost and delivery performance
- Using microscope, verniers, digital micrometres, thread gauges, CMM machine.
The Person:
- Previous work in manufacturing environment
- Some inspection experience
