Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a Warrington primary school starting in September until at least Christmas and possibly beyond. As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of young students within the KS2 phase.
8.30am - 3.30pm, 5 days a week. £90 per day.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Year 3 class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional help with their learning
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning resources
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
- Support the social and emotional development of students
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Year 3 students or within the KS2 phase
- At least 6 months experience working with children within the last 2 years
- A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the classroom
Day-to-day
- Collaborating with the Year 3 teacher to deliver lessons
- Working with small groups of students to provide targeted support
- Assisting with classroom management and behavior strategies
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Engaging in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
