Office Administrator
- Hourly Rate: £12 - £15
- Location: Guildford (GU4), Surrey
- 100% Office Based: Mon-Fri, Either 8-4 OR 9-5 - Flexible for the right person!
- Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (From August & Ongoing to approx. December 2024)
An established, family-run construction company in Guildford is looking for a temporary Office Administrator to provide full-time support from July ongoing to the end of the year, with potential of extension. The role involves a variety of general office and administrative duties within a friendly and dynamic team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner.
- Utilising computer packages and managing Excel spreadsheets effectively.
- Assisting with the tender and quotations process.
- Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and mailing.
- Maintaining office systems and managing records.
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the office through efficient task management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to support a busy office environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
