Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Plant Operative for our client who is the UK market leader for the processing and sale of IBAA (Incinerator Bottom Ash Aggregate) offering the Construction and Civil Engineering sector a Sustainable alternative to Natural Aggregates.
IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash) is the by-product from Energy from Waste, these are power stations that generate electricity from the combustion of MSW (Household waste) and are a Sustainable alternative to Landfilling.
Working as part of a team processing IBA to aid in the recovery of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals through the operation of a static plant.
Plant Operative Benefits:
- Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour for the first 40 and £17.16 for all hours worked over 40 per week
- Hours: 10.5 hours per day - Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5pm with breaks paid and every other Saturday 7am to 1pm paid at overtime rate
- Location: Hillsborough, Sheffield S6
- Contract: Temp to Perm
Plant Operative Activities include:
- Working on picking stations
- Clean down
- Routine maintenance
- Ensuring safety is paramount & reporting any defects
- Working as part of a team

We are looking for people who enjoy working outside, are able to work as part of a team and work in a safe manner.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute improvement ideas and actively take part in Health and Safety meetings.
