Job Title: Project Coordinator- Roofing
Location: Thetford, UK
Salary: £37,000+ DOE
Job Description: As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of my client's roofing projects. You will be responsible for coordinating technical services, managing data, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise in construction terminology, particularly in the roofing sector, will be essential in communicating effectively with my clients team and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced IT skills to manage and maintain data systems.
- Create and manage Excel spreadsheets to track project progress and maintenance schedules.
- File basic reports for the maintenance of buildings, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure all technical service requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members using construction terminology.
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of maintenance and repair activities.
- Monitor and report on project progress and address any technical issues promptly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of roofing construction processes and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proficient in IT with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Experience in filing and managing maintenance reports.
- Excellent understanding of construction terminology, preferably in the roofing sector.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry is highly desirable.
