An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Contracts Advisor to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering the firm's procurement service, working closely with various stakeholders to review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial supplier agreements. This role offers a flexible, hybrid working system, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with personal life effectively.

What you'll do:

As a Contracts Advisor, your role will be integral in supporting the firm's procurement service. You will be involved in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of commercial supplier contracts. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to identify and mitigate any potential legal risks associated with these contracts. Working alongside the Office of the General Counsel and Information Security teams, you will ensure that all suppliers undergo thorough due diligence and risk management processes. Your expertise will also be crucial in advising stakeholders on the commercial and legal aspects of contracts.

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of commercial supplier contracts from start to finish
  • Working with the Office of the General Counsel and Information Security teams to ensure appropriate due diligence and risk management is performed on all suppliers
  • Advising stakeholders on the commercial and legal aspects of contracts, including highlighting any risks to the business
  • Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with contracts and procurement activities
  • Supporting the wider Procurement team's improvement plans
  • Keeping abreast of changing requirements and amending existing supplier agreements to meet them
