Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analysis expert to offer assistance during the holiday season. This opportunity may lead to a temp-to-perm role for the right fit. Joining a small team of Analysts, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the organization has easy access to the information it requires to understand business and market performance. This role will involve working across multiple countries, developing and maintaining a standard management reporting suite that covers all business functions. Working closely with the Data Engineer, the Business Intelligence team helps to ensure the data pipeline is robust and that all reporting is connected to a centrally maintained Data Warehouse.
Important Quick Facts

- Experience in a commercial finance environment, but from any background.
- Confident communicator and would be accessible to senior management.
- In office 1-2 days a week at minimum (Basingstoke)

- Minimum term 1st August - 30th September. (with scope for a Temp-to-Perm)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a standard suite of reports ensuring data integrity, and work with the Data Engineer to ensure that required data points are available in the Data Warehouse.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, converting business requirements into user-friendly reports to uncover actionable insights.
- Play a key role in analysing the organization's performance and presenting resulting insights to senior management.
- Be responsible for controlling report access.
- Help educate the organization on available reporting and how to self-serve the data.
- Maintain documentation of critical tasks.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Expert level of proficiency building visualizations and data models using Power BI.
- Working knowledge of using SQL to access data.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Previous experience in a Commercial Finance environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities.
- Self-starter, but able to work cross-functionally and within a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convert business requests into simple reports.
- Ability to manage own workload and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
