Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Location: Based at an NHS hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne and across the community
Caseload: Older adult mental health
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours weekly), part-time also considered
Role Summary:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide ttherapy assessments & therapeutic interventions to the Older Adult service. This will include supporting to 2 inpatient wards & across the community.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking assessments to aid discharge planning from the wards & supporting people to live safely in her current home environments.
- The scope of the work will include working with older adults with both organic & functional mental health needs.
- Measure & order appropriate equipment.
- Knowledge of MOHO assessments & tools would be beneficial.
