Assistant Maintenance Manager

In return, we offer a salary of £41,870 - £49,114 plus up to 10% Bonus (~ £4,911), Private Health Care, Company Pension.

What will I be doing?

Keeping our Alternative Energy facilities running smoothly is a big job. That's why we need a capable Assistant Maintenance Manager to help keep Wilton 11 Energy Recovery Facility in good working condition and ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.

We'll look to you to:

  • ensure that all relevant site service contracts are current and comply with SUEZ recycling and recovery policies and procedures
  • develop and support plans for plant outage
  • provide support, training, and guidance to the on-site maintenance planners.

What are the requirements?

This is a varied role for someone with experience in planning large maintenance programmes and a background in either mechanical or electrical engineering, within similar process engineering sector:

  • Time served in either Mechanical, E&I or Process Operation disciplines.
  • Experience of statutory compliance and contractor management.
  • Experience of working within an EFW plant are ideal / knowledge of similar process is beneficial.
  • Experience of work planning within critical time and budgetary constraints.
  • A Health and Safety qualification is required.
