Executive Talent Solutions are working with an exciting property group to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.
The business is a market leader in the property sector and has enjoyed significant growth over the past 5 years. Alongside this, they have launched several new subsidiary companies which have created an exciting outlook.
The successful Management Accountant will report into the Financial Controller and will support the business with both technical and commercial accounting work.
The role is office based in Borehamwood 4 days per week and 1 day WFH. A salary between £40,000 and £45,000 is offered alongside some excellent benefits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full responsibility for the timely and accurate production of monthly financial and management accounts for the insurance, renewable, and property companies.
- Daily cash reporting
- Manage monthly insurer and producer settlements for both insurance companies.
- Oversee inter-company loans, including interest accruals and payments, and liaise with the parent company as required.
- Maintain integrity and proactive management of company balance sheets.
- Identify and report to management any issues from the monthly accounts requiring further analysis or corrective action.
- Ensure accounting policies and financial controls are regularly reviewed and enforced.
- Prepare UK and Group statutory accounts, and manage tax, VAT, and IPT compliance.
- Support system and process improvements aligned with strategic objectives.
- Perform financial and administrative ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Produce and report on departmental statistics for month-end and other management purposes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, including systemisation.
Candidates should have relevant experience working in a Management Accounting role and be able to work in Borehamwood 4 days per week.
