Finance Manager (Housebuilder)

£70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus
Leading housebuilder and residential developer is seeking to hire a Finance Manager to bolster its existing team. The role reports to the senior finance manager with responsibility for a small team.
Responsibilities
- Line management responsibility for a team of 3
- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts and commentaries for a division including analysis of key metrics such as ROCE
- Liaising with operations teams, supporting the decision making process and managing overheads
- Lead on and support annual budget and forecasting
- Working closely with the management accountants to review and analyse variances in the budget
- Key contact for the external auditors at year end
- Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Oversee cash and dealing with banks and lenders
- Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation
Your background
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant
- Housebuilding / Residential Development experience preferred
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Solid stakeholder management experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
