The Gig:
Full-time: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon-Thu), 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Fri)
37-hour week with a half-hour lunch break daily
Classes: 1st lesson starts at 9:15 AM, last class ends at 3:00 PM
Admin/planning day: At least one day per week equivalent
What You'll Do:
- Teach mainly 16-18-year-old learners on a study program
- Manage a cohort of 60 learners throughout the year (rolling cohort)
- Deliver Pearson Functional Skills courses (Levels 1 and 2, some Entry 3)
- Prep learners for weekly exams using established schemes of work
Who You Are:
Experienced with Functional Skills (reformed curriculum preferred) - essential
Proficient with the 16-18 age group (ideal)
Some SEN experience (ideal)
