My client is a leading Property company with prestigious offices based in the West End. They are looking for a Restaurant Manager to work within their building to manage daily operations to ensure a consistent high-end service to employees and clients alike.

The Role:

The role requires upholding the values of the companies service standards. The candidate will report directly to the Head Chef and will be responsible for managing all catering service personnel, including supervisors, waiters, and baristas.

There are daily breakfast and lunch services for 300 colleagues across two restaurants, as well as coffee bar service throughout the day. There are also ad-hoc events such as private dinners, corporate events etc. which require staffing and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and maintain service standards across two sites, delegating tasks as necessary.
  • Oversee service team performance and lead service staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identifying areas of success and improvement.
  • Manage financial budgets and monitor costs.
  • Hire and train staff, including temporary and agency staff.
  • Schedule staff rosters.
  • Handle employee issues and conflicts.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and build customer confidence.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies.
  • Maintain environmental, food safety, health and safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Stay updated with current industry food and beverage trends.
  • Foster creativity in food and service ideas.
  • Coordinate for events, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
