I am working with a public sector client based in York for the recruitment of a HR Advisor. The ideal candidate will be proficient in delivering HR strategies, managing employee relations, and handling recruitment processes.

Description

  • Delivering HR strategies in line with the organisation's objectives
  • Overseeing recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Managing employee relations and resolving any arising issues
  • Conducting performance management and facilitating staff development
  • Implementing and monitoring HR policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation
  • Participating in HR projects and initiatives
  • Reporting to and supporting the HR Director as required

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
