This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation, playing a pivotal role in delivering key projects aimed at enhancing and replacing legacy systems, while contributing to the company's overall modernisation efforts.

The organisation has been established for over 120 years and supports a wide range of members across the UK, from small enterprises to global organisations. It offers a broad spectrum of services, from HR and compliance support to training and business improvement opportunities, and is committed to delivering excellent building engineering services.

The Project Manager will join a newly established transformation and change team, reporting to the Head of Programmes and Change. The current team includes one full-time Business Analyst, with plans to expand the team to five members: the Project Manager, two Business Analysts, and a Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of multiple projects as part of a large-scale transformation program.
  • Manage the replacement of legacy systems and the implementation of new systems.
  • Oversee project roadmaps, which currently include over 20 identified projects, with scope to plan and identify additional projects.
  • Manage the implementation of a new customer/membership system (CRM), with the system selection process expected to conclude by November 2024 and implementation to begin in 2025.
  • Coordinate and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for operational and business process enhancements as part of the broader transformation effort.

Experience

  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably in a small or mid-sized enterprise environment.
  • Experience in leading projects through the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to delivery and closure.
  • Ability to manage both technical and business-focused projects, with the flexibility to adapt as project priorities evolve.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and taking on varied responsibilities as the business and team grow.

Office working

This role is fully remote, with occasional travel (once a month) to UK offices, including Penrith and London.
