Remuneration: £25,000 - £28,500 + Company profit related bonus

The role of the Technician - Civil Engineering will involve:
- Civil Engineering Technician position dealing with a high end range of geotechnical products
- Reading drawings, quantifying materials and preparing outline quotes
- Generating technical proposals, construction drawings and bespoke details, including the use of BIM
- Working closely with the Area Engineers and Sales Team, responding to incoming phone calls and generating quotes
- Undertake engineering designs and design proposals using AutoCAD design software
- Participate in the creation of technical tools/ presentations etc and assist the technical teams on site visits/ technical presentations where required
- Provide technical support to the operations of the construction teams
- Work closely with Area Engineers to promote geotechnical engineering systems
- Working on projects ranging in value up to circa £1,000,000
The ideal applicant will be a Technician - Civil Engineering experience with:
- Must have AutoCAD experience within the civil engineering / construction market sector
- Ideally will have a working knowledge of a range of civil engineering products such as: reinforced soil walls, geomembranes, erosion control, drainage geocomposites, geogrids etc
- Would also consider Architectural Technicians, Mechanical Engineering, CAD Designer, Design Engineer & Design Technicians etc
- Willing to learn, full product and software training will be provided
- Accurate and detail focussed
- Personable with good telephone manner and strong written communication
- Positive approach to customer service/ client support
- HND/ HNC/ Degree industry related qualification would be highly advantageous
