What you'll do:
As a Privacy Governance Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to data protection. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert advice on all aspects of privacy governance, ensuring that we remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations. You will develop and implement effective privacy policies, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with various teams to integrate privacy considerations into our business processes. Furthermore, you will stay updated on changes in privacy laws, updating policies as necessary, and develop training materials to enhance our team's understanding of privacy governance.
- Provide expert advice on privacy governance and data protection matters
- Ensure regulatory compliance by developing and implementing effective privacy policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of privacy controls
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure privacy considerations are integrated into business processes
- Stay abreast of changes in privacy laws and regulations, and update policies accordingly
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on privacy governance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Privacy Governance Consultant role is someone who brings proven experience in dealing with privacy governance or data protection. You should have a strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate complex information clearly. Your ability to collaborate effectively with various teams will be crucial in this role. A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information is essential. Experience conducting audits and assessing the effectiveness of controls would also be highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in a similar role dealing with privacy governance or data protection
- CIPP/E Qualification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information
- Experience conducting audits and assessing the effectiveness of controls
