Key Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects to children aged 3-12.
- Follow and adapt lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Support individual learning needs and encourage academic progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and occasionally parents.
- Provide detailed feedback to the regular teacher on lesson coverage and student progress.
Requirements of a Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must.
- Experience working with primary-aged children (ages 3-12).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in different classes and subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Ability to commute to Yateley
