Digital Lead – IoT – Automation – Construction/Civil Engineering

We are on the lookout for a forward-thinking Digital Lead to spearhead our digital transformation initiatives, driving adoption of new tooling to increase efficiency and efficacy.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our business systems, driving innovation, and ensuring we maintain our competitive edge. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating with clients and internal teams to devise and implement efficient processes and digital solutions.
This role will be customer facing and experience working in joint venture environments, within the civil engineering/construction sector is essential.
Responsibilities
- Forge strong partnerships with clients, partners, and internal teams to develop and respond to proposals.
- Champion the pursuit of excellence through the strategic use of business systems.
- Capture and articulate business requirements across various timeframes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement by conducting review sessions with users to align system functionality with business evolution.
- Manage project execution by coordinating with internal resources and external vendors.
- Uphold consistent application solutions and maintain data confidentiality.
- Design and maintain automated workflows and processes.
- Provide support to fellow Business Systems Analysts and lead during peak project periods.
Skills & Qualifications
- A solid engineering background with a track record of delivering digital engineering solutions.
- Experience working in joint venture environments and with multiple suppliers.
- Experience working within construction / large scale civil engineering.
- Experience with IIoT devices and data platforms such as Azure IOT, PI, and Cognite.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Experience in ICT system development, testing, and implementation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Suite.
- A pragmatic and adaptable approach to balance ideal solutions with current needs.
- Capability to excel in a fast-paced, globally integrated business environment.
