This integral role will ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting and analysis, offering the opportunity to engage in financial modelling for business opportunities.
Your new role will include:
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations, including handling prepayments and accruals.
- Collaborating with finance colleagues for accurate data recording and timely budget adjustments.
- Managing payment schedules for accounts receivable and process payroll transactions.
- Maintaining and updating budget monitoring tools, analysing variances and reporting trends.
- Delivering monthly financial reports to senior management, analysing expenditures and providing insights.
- Executing month-end procedures, including journal entries, cost centre recharges, and commentary.
- Ensuring in-month income reconciliation and adjustments, and prepare monthly budget packs.
- Conducting monthly financial forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Assisting in budget preparation for annual and multi-year plans, and facilitating month-end reporting.
- Preparing and uploading budget files to the finance system.
- Carrying out year-end audit tasks and supporting the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Overseeing expense and income coding, and updating financial monitoring spreadsheets.
The successful candidate for this role will have proven experience in financial analysis and reporting, in addition to proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
