My client are seeking an experienced Head of / Procurement Manager to join their fast-paced business in Northamptonshire. The role will involve coaching and leading a team across global sourcing, supply chain and compliance, whilst driving change and transformation.

This Head of / Procurement Manager role will be based in Northampton on a 3/2 day hybrid model.
Description
- Develop a category management strategy for the procurement function, based in Northampton
- Develop and lead a commercial and customer-focused team - total reports c. 15-20
- Sourcing and contract negotiation with suppliers (typically low cost country Inc. Far East)
- NPD focused, ensuring top-tier products are sourced sustainably for customer
- Ensure uniterruoted supply to the end customer
- Keep up to date with innovation and market trends Inc. sustainability
Profile
The successful candidate for this Head of / Procurement Manager role will have strong leadership experience and qualities.
In addition, experience of sourcing within a low-cost country supply base is key - ideally Far East. A commercially focused mindset is key, alongside strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, within a matrix supply chain operation.
Job Offer
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary plus car allowance, c. 15-20% bonus (dependent on business performance), pension up to 12% matched and private healthcare.
This role will require 3 days per week on-site in Northampton.
