Right now they areundergoing a significant amount of growth and they are looking to add anexperienced Electrical Design Engineer to the team.
Their team of highlyqualified engineers have extensive experience in all aspects of BuildingServices engineering.

Your new role
- You will be starting as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, joining an already well-established team.
- You will take a lead role on a number of New build and refurbishment projects on commercial, residential and emergency services buildings across Glasgow and Edinburgh.
- You will lead several junior engineers, assisting their development and ensuring the quality of their work.
- You will be supported by a team of creative and experienced engineers.
- Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems .
- Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems - power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection etc.
- Carry out (and managing of others), in the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Excel, Dialux, Amtech, CAD, Revit, etc.
- Representing the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.
- Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works.
- Report and technical note writing.
- Maintaining complete records and archives to company standards.
- Adherence to all quality, environmental and governance processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- A can do, positive attitude.
- Willingness to progress and improve your career.
- A relevant electrical design engineering degree in Building Services.
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in the Building Services industry.
- Good understanding of AmTech, Dialux, CAD (2D and 3D) and Revit.
- A Full driving license.
- The ability to lead and thrive in a small social team.
