We are currently working with an organisation in Essex who are looking to hire a Quality Inspector.
They are a well established, and well regarded engineering company that supply into a number of different sectors and they require an additional member of staff due to increased workload.
This is a full time, permanent position working the night shift only.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and evaluate components to ensure they meet safety standards
- Use of various mechanical inspection equipment to ensure conformance
- First off approval, batch and final inspection
- Improvement of the inspection processes to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness
- Check and complete all necessary paperwork / reporting
Skills & Experience required:
- Previous experience in a Quality / Mechanical Inspector role
- Knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques
- Familiar with quality standards such as ISO 9001
- CMM experience preferred
