Design Technology Technician
Location: Enfield, North London
Rate: £14.50 to £15.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Type: Full Time, Long Term. Immediate start until July, but possibly longer

Responsibilities:
As a Design Technology Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting teachers in the preparation of materials and equipment for Design Technology lessons.
- Be highly proficient with resistant materials(woodwork and metalwork).
- Maintaining and organising the Design Technology workshops, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Supporting students with practical activities and projects.
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs of equipment.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Design Technology Technician or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Design Technology tools, materials, and equipment.
- Good understanding of resistant materials (woodwork and metalwork)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- The school requires someone very reliable, adaptable and who is a great communicator.
Hours and Pay:
- Full-time position.
- 8am - 4pm
- Hourly rate: £14.50 to £15.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
