We are currently seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a locum role based in the community around Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to join a dynamic and supportive team within a community-based setting, providing rehabilitation and condition management to adults in the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients with a variety of conditions in a community rehabilitation setting.
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions focused on independence and functional recovery.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
- Manage a caseload of patients and provide rehabilitation and condition management as required.
- Support and guide junior staff and contribute to service development.
Essential Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC Registration.
- Previous UK NHS experience.
- Post-registration experience in rehabilitation and condition management.
Desirable:
- Experience in community settings or Intermediate Care (IMC).
- Current Band 6 experience.
