Job Title: Engineer Health & Well-being Systems

Location: Crewe

Contract Details: Fixed term until 31/1/2025

Salary: £40.46 (Ltd/Umbrella) outside IR35

Are you ready to make a difference in the world of automotive engineering? We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Health & Well-being Systems to join our client's dynamic team in Crewe. As an Engineer Health & Well-being Systems, you will have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge electronic systems that provide exceptional features and experiences to customers, with a focus on enhancing their health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the next generation of electronic systems using advanced software and hardware technologies to deliver exceptional features and experiences.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of technical skills in automotive health and well-being features, including occupant state sensing technologies, algorithms, in-car measures, and connected services.
  • Collaborate with peers across different brands to ensure a comprehensive approach to automotive health and well-being.
  • Operate in a systems engineering environment, taking a function-oriented approach to development and ownership.
  • Deliver projects according to specific requirements, adhering to timing, cost, and quality targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to share project status and provide solutions to technical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations regarding personal integrity and health and safety.

Practical & Technical Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate an affinity for technology and a curiosity about how things work.
  • Possess an interest in human health and medical topics.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and the ability to find creative solutions, even in challenging situations.
  • Showcase your ability to apply practical knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a 4-year Master's degree (e.g., MEng) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar subject, including Bio-medical Engineering.
  • Associate membership of a relevant professional intuition is desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues across different forums.
  • Strong design and development skills, with the ability to influence within your area of responsibility.
  • Understanding of financial limits within your area of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of electrical vehicle functions, including electronic hardware, software, and systems.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in German is preferable.
