Reed are currently working with an accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team in Liverpool. This role is ideal for a professional who is ready to take on more responsibility and lead accounting projects within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Prepare Corporate Tax Computations and Self Assessment Tax Returns
- Prepare Management Accounts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in practice (required)
- Working towards AAT qualification or already AAT qualified (desired)
- Good understanding of QuickBooks and Xero bookkeeping
- Reasonable basic tax knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
