Job Description:

Seeking a Financial Accountant to join a large and dynamic finance team. This role involves managing complex financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering in-depth financial analysis that supports critical decision-making across various departments. The Financial Accountant will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and play a key role in optimising financial performance within a large-scale, fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS, supporting various business units.
  • Manage the general ledger for a large volume of transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial activities.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations, including multi-currency bank accounts, inter-company receivables, and payables.
  • Assist in the development and review of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for multiple departments or divisions.
  • Collaborate with tax teams to prepare and review tax returns, ensuring full compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
  • Lead and participate in financial audits, working closely with external auditors across various regions.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure consistent data integrity across a large organisation.
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow, managing working capital for various business segments, and providing actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior leadership teams and other departments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated with financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices that impact a large, international organisation.

  • Qualified Accountant, Qualified by experience Accountant.
