Exams and Compliance Officer
- Annual Salary: £22,163 (£24,789 full-time equivalent)

- Job Type: Permanent, Term Time + 2 weeks inset
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking an Exams and Local Compliance Officer to join our exams department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the administration and organisation of both external and internal examinations, contributing significantly to the success of our students' progress in a vibrant and supportive school environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Manage the administration of external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications regulations.
- Enter pupils for public examinations using electronic data interchange and ensure a manual backup.
- Liaise with Exams Managers/Officers across Trust Schools for entries and results forwarding.
- Produce examination timetables for students, staff, and parents.
- Advise the Senior Leadership Team of timetable clashes so that appropriate supervision and rooms can be arranged.
- Book external invigilators and create an invigilation timetable.
- Oversee the start and finish of all exams, both public and internal.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the organisation and administration of examinations.
- Proficiency in using exam software and familiarity with examination regulations within schools or colleges.
- Strong leadership skills to guide staff and students in respect of the exams provision.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in admissions is highly desirable.
