Senior Electrical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is looking to progress to an Associate level and join a multidisciplined MEP consultancy based in Manchester. The successful candidate will join a team of highly technical individuals and be exposed to various projects from all sectors of the built environment.
Role responsibilities include:
- Carrying out electrical building services design
- Helping mentor and develop the more junior level engineers
- Design systems for a range of projects using CAD and Revit
- Producing electrical design calculations, as well as reports, drawings, and specifications for RIBA design stages
- Work alongside and develop working relationships with structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors.
- Take part in project group and technical meetings, whilst carrying out construction stage monitoring duties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant degree or qualification within a building services or electrical engineering field
- Extensive design and site experience within a building services engineering role.
- Successful track record working on projects within the Commercial Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed Developments, Residential Accommodation and Leisure sectors
- Up to date on sustainable design practices and CIBSE guides
- Experience with industry relevant software such as Revit and AutoCAD
