HR Assistant

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful and highly recognised leading international manufacturer located on the outskirts of Worcester.

We are currently supporting their recruitment for a people focussed and detail orientated HR Advisor to join their successful and fast-growing team on a full time, permanent contract, to support recruitment strategy and the recruitment process for direct staff and supporting the Talent Acquisition team with indirect staff.

This position is office based, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday offering a highly competitive salary of £35K.

To be considered for this role you must be CIPD Level 3 qualified, or working towards, with excellent organisation and communication skills.

AN IMMEDIATE START IS AVAILABLE FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE.

HR Assistant main duties:

  • HR administration and support of the senior HR team
  • Liaise with Recruitment, Learning and Development and Payroll to ensure a smooth process for new starters and job changes.
  • Administer probationary periods, contractual changes, family leave, flexible working requests, sickness, and performance.
  • Support managers and colleagues with the HR system
  • Manage employee files and data, ensuring correct storage and GDPR compliance.
  • Handle email enquiries, responding to reference requests and being first point of contact for day-to-day queries, redirecting and escalating where appropriate.
  • Keep all HR related documents, guidance, and templates up to date.
  • Provide general administrative support to HR Business Partners, and the wider HR team where necessary.

HR Assistant required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in HR, recruitment experienced preferred
  • A passion for all things administration
  • Fantastic attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Tact and discretion.
  • A one-team mindset, happy to help others where needed.
