Description

  • Act as the short and long term strategic business lead for the category
  • Key contact for Global HQ and the local European subsidiaries on agreeing the strategy and roadmap
  • Using your technical knowledge to drive operational processes on what can and cannot be done with the insurance landscape across Europe
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 3 key insurance partners at C-Level
  • Ensure all insurance propositions are fit for purpose and deployed effectively and efficiently
  • Work closely with product owners to resolve issues or planned improvement
  • Maintain and improve the consumer purchase journey to maximise conversion across all touchpoints
  • Work closely with key partners on new propositions and channel expansion whilst optimising existing channels
  • Complete regular market and competitor analysis
  • Manage a team of 2 direct reports providing mentoring, coaching, goal setting and regular 1:1s

Profile

A successful Head of Service Propositions and Partnerships should have:

  • A strong academic background with a degree in a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in insurance, with direct/indirect responsibility for sales, marketing and product (mandatory)
  • Experience in driving an insurance P&L and attachment (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of insurance retail, eCommerce and indirect channel conversion (mandatory)
  • Experience in bringing new regulated products/services to market (mandatory)
  • The ability to drive business growth and manage a team effectively
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail, and ability to convince and inspire
  • Comfortable and proficient to interact and present to the senior executives
  • Outstanding analytical and data management skills
  • Results focused and able to prioritise multiple projects
