Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Heywood, Lancashire

Pay Bracket: £40,000 - £42,000 + Benefits.

We are working well-established company specialising in construction industry providing their services for clients throughout the UK.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. This role will report to the directors, you will be responsible for managing our accounts department on a day-to-day basis. There will also be some general office administration as part of the daily duties.

Your main roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management both the AP / AR functions of the business
  • Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Preparing monthly P&L & Balance sheet
  • Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
  • Update internal systems as required
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports
  • Ensure completion of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Assist in financial audits
  • Review and implement local financial procedures, where required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of Sage/Xero/Similar Accounts Package
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
