Location - Remote

Contract Length - 9 Months Maternity Cover ( potential to be extended )

Hours - 37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Day Rate - £250 - £319

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner/ Analyst Contractor - on behalf of a global Manufacturing Company . This role will be 37.5 hours Monday - Friday on an initial 9 month contract with potential opportunity to be extended.

The successful Finance Business Partner/ Analyst Contractor will join a Team of 3 Analysts. This will be a fully remote working position, however, there is opportunity to attend the office based in Slough, UK, on Occasion if you desire.

Key Responsibilities if the Finance Business Partner/ Analyst:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support GBS operations.

  • Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, performance reports, and variance analyses.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate GBS performance and provide actionable insights.

  • Work cross functionally with third parties such as Payroll, Accounts Payable

  • Input detailed purchase orders into company system

  • Resolve any purchase orders in dispute

  1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for GBS.

  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and trends.

  • Collaborate with GBS leaders to gather necessary data and provide financial guidance.

  1. Data Management and Analytics:
  • Collect, validate, and analyse financial data from multiple sources.

  • Utilise business intelligence tools and software to generate insights and support decision-making.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reports and analyses.

  1. Cost Management and Efficiency:
  • Analyse and monitor GBS costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

  • Support initiatives aimed at optimising GBS processes and reducing operational costs.

  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects and initiatives.

  1. Business Partnering:
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across different regions and functions.
  • Work independently, but be confident to ask questions to the wider and fellow colleagues.
  1. Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits and reviews specific to GBS operations.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks within the GBS function.

  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the GBS finance function.

  • Participate in and support global finance projects and initiatives.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in global business services.

  1. Systems and Tools:
  • Utilize financial systems and tools (SAP Essential, Nicus desirable) to enhance reporting and analysis.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial software and tools within GBS.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a global business services.

  • Experience with multinational companies and understanding of global financial practices is preferred.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle and Nicus).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
