The successful candidate will be responsible for creating persuasive and detailed bid proposals, and will work closely with the sales team.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Senior Bid Writer will include:

  • Develop compelling bid proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.
  • Conduct research to understand market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Monitor bid management systems and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Provide feedback to the team to improve bid success rate.
  • Present bid proposals to senior management for approval.
  • Maintain a database of all bid documents for future reference.

Profile

A successful Senior Bid Writer should have:

  • A strong educational background in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • 2-3 years + proven experience in bid writing or a similar role
  • Experience within services, or an industrial environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
