Contracts Manager

Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join an established, growing Tier One contractor! The role entails managing various projects around London, Hertfordshire and Berkshire, with their jobs coming in MoD, Education, Industrial and Residential! Candidates MUST have a successful track record of delivering major projects concurrently whilst also having worked long-term for a number major contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all contractual aspects of large-scale construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, variations, and claims, ensuring optimal outcomes for the company.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager, preferably with a Tier One contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, construction regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex construction contracts.
  • Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred).
