Nigel Wright Tech is delighted to be working with a not-for-profit organisation in their search for a Systems Owner.
The Role
The Systems Owner will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and improvement of critical IT systems within the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather and document requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems and integrations
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance system capability, scalability, security and efficiency
- Collaborate with the cyber security team to ensure that systems meet security standards and compliance requirements
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams and end users, to understand their requirements and priorities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures
The Requirements
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on system management, optimisation and security
- Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux), virtualisation technologies, networking and storage systems
- Experience of vendor, procurement and contract management is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
