Trainee Field Sales Manager Job in Ferndown

The Trainee Field Sales Manager will have a 24 month plan of progression, taking you through the ins and outs of the company and the role, to enable you to progress.
This trainee role is with a thriving local business who distributes both small and large equipment and tools across the local area. The patch for this role will cover BH, DT and SP postcodes, giving you the freedom of being out and about, while also not having to stray too far from home. Responsibilities of the Trainee Area Sales Manager:
- Manage the development of new accounts and maximise business within those accounts.
- Establish correct and successful procedures to maintain good customer and prospect contact schedules, keeping customers updated at all times
- Manage your own diary, ensuring appointments are booked and the routes are logical
- Develop a territory plan which will incorporate all the above
- Maintain the company database, updating as required, ensuring all the most valuable information on the client is accurate and recent.
- Work to meet all sales targets set by the sales management team, reviewing these through your training period and beyond.
- Use all analysis provided by the company to plan your focus, to maximise revenue and growth in underperforming or neglected areas.
Minimum requirements:
- Confident with excellent communication skills
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Maths and English GCSEs grades C and above
- A full UK drivers licence
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary to be discussed on application
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising by one day a year to a maximum of 30 days after 8 years service
