Posted by Ainscough Associates.

Permanent contract

We are seeking a Team Leader with experience of working well with teenagers/children for a choice of part time hours in term time, and increasing hours in school holidays, with flexibility for additional hours including sleep in shifts. Weekend shifts through the year are also available.

We have a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to work with and lead a small team of five carers providing support and activities to a delightful, fun loving, good natured boy in his early teens in his own home. The ideal candidate will steer the team and will also have the opportunity to recruit new permanent staff to help fill the available hours. We are seeking someone with experience of working with children/teenagers, who has a confident approach, encourages social interaction and is able to establish clear boundaries. A willingness to take part in some practical tasks (cooking, driving) and the ability to coax an occasionally reluctant teenager is welcome!

Shifts to choose from:

Term time:

Mornings before school: 7.15am to 9am Mon - Friday

Afternoons after school: 3pm - 9 pm Mon - Friday

Weekends and School holidays: 10am - 4pm or 3.30pm - 10pm

Sleep-in shifts are also available and can be worked prior to the morning shift.
