The Role:
My client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Developer to join their forward-thinking development team. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of C# and .NET technologies, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing development teams and projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other departments to define project requirements and deliverables.
Identify and address technical challenges and risks, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of issues.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.
Expertise in C# and .NET framework.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Proven experience in leading and managing development teams and projects.
Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET.
Familiarity with database systems, particularly SQL Server.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed technical decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirables:
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies.
Participation in open-source projects or contributions to the developer community.
