Health & Safety Advisor – violence and aggression Lead

A position has arisen for a temporary Health & Safety Advisor who specialises in violence and aggression placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Buckinghamshire. This role takes responsibility for providing subject leadership and advice/guidance for the violence and aggression reduction agenda.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing relevant Health and Safety policies E.G. restraint and restrictive practices
  • Identifying and establishing the provision of appropriate arrangements, processes, procedures, and training
  • Reporting of issues associated with the prevention and management of violence and aggression across the organisation and the drafting of reports for the Health & Safety and other corporate committees' undertakings
  • Regularly reviewing detailed violence reduction program, including the research, writing, and production of training materials
  • Carrying out audits in accordance with the corporate annual Health and Safety plan/agenda
  • Reviewing and identifying RIDDOR reportable incidents and notify the Health & Safety Executive in line with legal requirements

The successful candidate should have:

  • You must have previous experience dealing with violence and aggression initiatives
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and be NEBOSH or IOSH Qualified
  • Experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes
  • Please note a DBS will be required for this position
