Senior Product Manager - Inside IR35
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Location: Stockton on Tees – onsite 3 days per week.
Our client is seeking a Product Manager on a 6-month contract. This role is vital for preserving the integrity and continuity of their product development processes during a period of transformation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Work closely with the Product team to capture and document detailed information on product architecture, features, workflows, and strategic roadmaps.
- Oversee the gathering and documentation of product requirements.
- Develop, refine, and manage user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Prioritise product features based on business impact and user feedback, aligning development efforts with strategic goals.
- Maintain and update the Product Team board to ensure transparency and track progress on product developments.
- Identify and address potential risks associated with the product transition and ongoing development.
- Ensure product requirements are validated and prioritised, obtaining necessary stakeholder approvals and challenging existing assumptions.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements and contribute to the evolution of product roadmaps.
- Develop and execute a detailed transition plan that outlines activities, timelines, and responsibilities, and facilitate the onboarding of new team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in product management within environments undergoing significant business changes.
- Proven capability in defining and implementing robust business analysis processes.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and project management practices.
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and capable of quickly adapting to changing environments.
